We will be speaking at the Travel Adventure Show in Silicon Valley on Saturday, October 23 at 3 pm on their Savvy Destination Stage. We will also have a booth there (#911) under the We Blog the World & Blue Soul Travel umbrellas, so look for us if you’re in the area or can be. The show will run across the entire weekend at the Santa Clara Convention Center. You can find out more here, including how to get tickets. (note: they are following appropriate Covid guidelines and protocols)

Our talk will be on Transformative Travel: Become “Enlightened” Through Your Travel Experiences.

We will share how to more deeply connect to a destination’s culture and to the people their language, unique customs, food, drink and music. Explore how the sacred-ness of a place can show you how it and we are all interconnected.

A deeper connection pushes you not just to see, taste and hear the powerful senses of travel but inspires you to go inward as well which not only transforms your experience on-the-ground, but your understanding of the world, your role in it and everything around you. After a true transformative travel experience, you’ll emerge with profound wisdom and a richer understanding of the unity of every living thing on this beautiful planet of ours. Also learn about captivating activities in different parts of the world that combine adventure, nature and spirituality for an incredible sacred experience. We really hope you can join us.

In addition to our talk, there are other riveting sessions that span across both Saturday and Sunday. Host of Discovery Channel’s Expedition Unknown Josh Gates will be giving a talk about his most daring expeditions as well as real-world advice on how to embrace the unknown and transform your next trip into an epic journey. Travel Writer, Actor and Director Andrew McCarthy will also be speaking about his personal journey and how travel and self-reflection changed his life.

There will also be a special report from the master road warrior and CBS News Travel Editor Peter Greenberg, who is also an Emmy-Award Winning investigative reporter and producer. Then Pauline Frommer will take the stage also on Saturday (who we had a chance to meet a couple of times at the New York Times Travel Show over the years). She plans to discuss how to plan the most appealing vacations for this transitional time we’re in, covering everything from insurance issues to airfare and accommodations, from cultural shifts to modes of travel.  There will also be more talks on Sunday as well.
