When we started throwing Blue Soul Circles in our home, it began randomly like a lot of powerful things do I suppose.
You see, Spirit came through kinda sorta by accident in the early days. While it’s clearly no accident that we have both opened up to Spirit and chose to lead and live a life of spirit this time around (together), we didn’t expect Spirit to come through with messages for people at the oddest of times. Then again, our team often says there are no accidents or coincodences.
You see, we’ve given our Spirit Team permission to come through and speak to us around dinner time — it appears that our team approves of our wine selection and loves to take part.
Amethyst brings about calm and serenity. Apparently once upon a time, Catholic clergy wore amethyst stone in their crosses because their meaning was piety and celibacy.
While that may sound silly or even off-putting for those on a spiritual path who don’t drink alcohol at all and never eat meat, Spirit never judges. In fact, because Anthony is a trance medium, Spiritual Beings who do come through have the ability to experience our food and wine first hand. We’ll write about that at a later time since it’s so fascinating (and amusing at times) that it could fill a few pages alone.
It’s suffice to say that when friends came over for dinner (one-on-one) or a small group, Spirit came through with messages and slowly over time, cleansing and clearing of chakras and eventually some healing.

This was as profound of an experience for us as it was for our friends. We never knew what Spirit was going to “surprise” us with next — what words of meaning and guidance at a Soul’s Level were they going to say and why? Most of the time, it was light beings (from the tallest of order so to speak, even though our team tells us all the time that there really is no “order” the way we think of “order” in a 3D world). They use this language for us, so we can categorize it in a way that our linear minds can process the information.
Rather than mediumship to connect with the “dead”, our gift is to connect to Spiritual Light Beings from the “Other Side” and later, Galactic beings (but that’s another story).

Early on, what was most important for us to understand and learn was our purpose and of course, our gift. Our Spirit Team would say that we would learn our gift over time as it showed up in real time with individuals (and groups) we worked with. Together, Spirit and Human would help awaken and ignite people’s souls to help them remember their own gifts and purpose in this lifetime. This would happen through shifting people’s vibration and opening them up to receiving divine love and understanding it’s power not just here on Earth but in the Universe as a whole. (there’s another deeper story there too).
So, in the early days, we “practiced” with our Spirit Team so we became familiar with how they work and vice versa. We grew accustom to each other’s frequencies. We learned each other’s preferences and strengths. And, friends came to dinner, to tea, for drinks and we allowed Spirit to come through with their knowledge.
We learned about the power of light language and during one of our earliest circles at our home in San Francisco, our friend Merrily gifted our group with the light language which comes through her, all aimed at helping people better connect to the 5D realm.
Her work helps clear the residuals of past personal trauma, epigenetics and collective consciousness from the cellular memory that untethers individuals from the construct of time which helps people access fifth dimension states. Her healing albums The Resurrection Project for men and Graced for women helps people separate from previously confined masculine and feminine imprints and to recognize and clear shadow and trauma stories around feminine and masculine expression so that they can reintegrate the divine feminine and divine masculine in a healthy and balanced way. It was a wonderful addition to our Blue Soul Circle in the Spring.
One of the most powerful Blue Soul Circles early on was an all women group — very few women knew each other, so sharing their stories and insights with each other after Spirit left the room (officially that is since they had left Anthony’s soul but was still lingering for support) was a powerful exercise. They shared things with each other they had never shared with others, even family members and close friends.
Why? Because it was a safe and sacred space to do so. And, because everyone recognized a piece of themselves they had either never seen or felt before, or had felt so long ago, they had forgotten their “true” essence….their Higher Purpose.
Although I tend to use Amethyst often as a dominant crystal in the grids I create for each Blue Soul Circle, I led with Citrine for that all women’s group, surrounded by Rose Quartz for love, with Aqua Aura, Calcite and Quartz Crystal (and a l’il copper) to amplify its power.
I did this for a reason, largely because most of the women at that particular circle were either artists, creative types or light workers, so the idea of financial abundance took a second seat to the work they came here to do. Kudos to that higher feeling, however without incorporating emotional, spiritual and financial abundance, we are only embracing one of the prosperity energies, not all three.

On that particular evening in the middle of May was when the idea of Blue Soul Earth was birthed, although we didn’t have an official name until months later.
It was the brilliance of Silicon Valley psychologist Dr. Gabriele Hilberg and our friend Sandra McKnight (who sings about happiness around the world btw) who directed us to go a little more public with our work, to set up a business and actually start charging for our gifts. Charging we thought? But that’s not what we do for a living.

Somehow the idea of charging for the spiritual work Anthony and I shared with friends felt “wrong” to both of us. After all, we both had established careers — me as a marketing guru and publicist and Anthony as bilingual speech therapist.
What we didn’t realize at the time is that when you truly find your calling, things need to shift in BIG ways so you can succeed with that calling. And, Spirit was about to help move boulders for us so we could make such a transition. We didn’t know that at the time either.
The initial birthing took place in Gabriele’s home in Mountain View where we held our first “official” Blue Soul Circle that people “paid” for in exchange for the experience. We didn’t have a website, business cards or 20 years of experience but what Spirit reminds us all the time is that we actually have thousands of experience healing since it’s been both of our gifts for some time and “who” we are at the core of our essence and soul. How often do we listen to belief systems that don’t serve us or others?
It was the first time we allowed Spirit to come through to a group of complete strangers, so we had to gauge what people were feeling and thinking, both of us concerned that people would feel comfortable and enlightened with meeting “Spirit,” some for the first time. As light workers know, the most important thing is to trust and let things flow, so that Spirit can work through you (as a vessel) for the greatest good of the individual and for all those involved.
For this circle, I used Amethyst as the main stone and layered it with more amethyst throughout, while adding Aquamarine, Crystal Quartz and a myriad of other stones that would also incorporate masculine and feminine energy. For our June circle (our first circle in Silicon Valley/the South Bay), there were only two men out of 17, but it was a nice blend of energies overall, with people holding careers in diverse industries that ranged from tech, biotech, pharma and medicine to reiki practitioners, artists and teachers.
What came through was a combination of messages and healing from our Spirit Team. As Gabriele so beautifully put to the group afterwards to get us all to think about the world as we know it in a different way:
It makes us wonder:
- what other dimensions are there in the realm of the unseen world?
- how to be with the energies of Goddesses like Gaia, Spiritual Guides, Ascended Masters, and Angels?
- are we always connected to those Beings but we don’t know it?
- how can we connect with them in our daily lives?
- are we going to join them in our after life?
- and more questions…
